We are seeking volunteers to participate in a clinical research study of an investigational medication for people who have been diagnosed with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis. This study is part of a research program that will include approximately 1,350 participants worldwide and is being conducted by about 105 doctors across the United States and Canada.
You may qualify if you:
- Have moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis
- Are being treated with or have failed treatment with oral 5-aminosalicylates (5-ASAs), or oral corticosteroids, or 6-mercaptopurine (6-MP), or Imuran (AZA, azathioprine).
- Have not been treated with anti-TNF therapy
- Do not have a history of tuberculosis or recurring infections
